Woman chops off husband’s manhood in Zambia

A 24-year-old man of Kitwe has sustained a big cut on the private parts after his wife assaulted him.

John Munshimbwe is alleged to have seen his 20-year-old wife Jane Chola with another man while on her way back from the market at night.

When he allegedly asked her who the man he saw her with was, she denied knowing him, to which he decided to keep quiet about the matter.

However, at midnight when the two retired to bed, she allegedly woke up, shouted at him, slapped him and then pierced at his private parts.

Copperbelt Province commanding officer Peacewell Mweemba said the incident occurred on October 27th at midnight.

“Brief facts of the matter are that on October 26th, 2023 the victim, John Munshimbwe knocked off from Apex night club where he works from, upon reaching home he gave his wife Jane Chola money to buy relish while he remained with his son home. After seeing that his wife had taken long at the market, he followed her and saw her at a distance with another man,” he said.

Mr Mweemba said it was then that his wife rushed towards him while the man other man disappeared.

He said the victim then asked his wife about the man and she disputed and so he decided to keep quiet about the matter.

“At around midnight while sleeping the wife started shouting at him and slapped him from nowhere. He then felt a sharp pain on his penis and blood started oozing, but managed to go to his mothers house as it is near and his brother in law rushed him police. There he was issued with a medical report and rushed to Kitwe Teaching Hospital where his condition is now stable,” he said.

Mr Mweemba added that the suspect has been arrested awaiting court appearance.
