Umodzi Party President John Chisi joins MCP

Umodzi Party (UP) President Professor John Chisi has joined the Malawi Congress Party (MCP).
MCP Secretary General Eisenhower Mkaka has announced the development during a press briefing currently underway at MCP headquarters in the capital Lilongwe.
Mkaka has also welcomed into the party former Vice President for the opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) for Central Region Zelia Chakale.
Chakale resigned from the party a month ago.
