Death has been announced of Reverend Father Denis Mkomwa of the Archdiocese of Lilongwe.

Reverend Father Mkoma died this morning at Lukuni Hospital where he was admitted.

Episcopal Conference of Malawi (ECM) Secretary General Very Reverend Valeriano Mtseka has confirmed of the development in a statement made available to faceofmalawi.

Reverend Father Mkoma has died at the age of 60.

Meanwhile, funeral details are still sketchy.
