Football Association of Malawi has revealed the dates and venue for the semi-finals of the inaugural Castel Challenge Cup.
According FAM, both semi-final matches will be played in Blantyre at Kamuzu National Stadium.
FCB Nyasa Big Bullets, Mighty Mukuru Wanderers, Silver Strikers and Bangwe All Stars will be battling it out for the trophy.
The first semi-final will be staged on Saturday between Bangwe and Silver Strikers while the Blantyre Derby is on December 24, 2023 on Sunday.
Silver Strikers hammered Ekwendeni United, Namitete Zitha FC and Blue Eagles to reach the semi-finals of the tournament while Bangwe All Stars saw off Mafco FC, Bocca Junior and Chitipa United.
The peoples team beat Lipulumundu Stars, Soche Socials, Civil Service United and Ekwendeni Hammers to reach the semi-finals of the tournament while Mighty Mukuru Wanderers saw off Friends of Mulanje Orphans (FOMO), Red Lions, Moyale Barracks Katete Rangers to reach the semifinals.
However, Wanderers, Bangwe All Stars and Silver will be looking to bag their first trophy of the season after missing out the TNM Super League and FDH bank Cup.
The winner of the Castel Cup will cart home K50 Million while runners up will walk away with K25 Million.
