Civil Service United has announced that they have released seven players from their squad ahead of the 2024 season.
According to the teams general Secretary, Edgar Chipalanjira, they have decided to release the players as part of the rebuilding process to prepare for the coming 2024 season.
The Players that have been released are Harry Nyirenda, Luke Chima, William Mwalwimba, Frank Banda, Sugzo Mwakasinga, Dan Kumwenda and Innocent Tanganyika.
Meanwhile, Innocent Tanganyika has been appointed as one of the coaches at Civo Youth meaning that has retired from football at the age of 42.
Recently, they have been reports that Civil service cum midfielder Lloyd Banega Aaron will join the treble winners FCB Nyasa Big Bullets.
Last season the servants finished on position 8 in the TNM Super League and they will play in the Airtel top 8 this season.
