All set for TNM Super League prize presentation

Super League of Malawi (Sulom) has disclosed that the 2023 TNM Super League awards ceremony will be held in Blantyre on January 19 January 2024.

According to a statement by Sulom the red-carpet event will take place at Mount Soche Hotel where Afro-pop and Reggae/dancehall artist, Saint, will perform live to spice up the award ceremony.

FCB Nyasa Big Bullets will be officially crowned champions after defending the title for the fifth time in a row whereas Dedza Dynamos Striker Clement Nyondo will collect the Golden Boot Award after scoring 16 goals.

Meanwhile, four players, namely; goalkeeper Innocent Nyasulu, Patrick Mwaungulu, Chimwemwe Idana and Clement Nyondo were nominated to contest for the player of the season award.

Five other players; Patrick Mwaungulu, Chimwemwe Idana, Robert Saizi, Chikondi Kamanga and Lloyd Aaron are in contention for the Best Midfielder and four defenders; Lawrence Chaziya, Stanley Sanudi, Clyde Senaji and Chris Lwemba were nominated for the Best Defender accolade.

Last season, Bullets wing back Gomezgani Chirwa was voted as the player of the season, where he received MK 2 000 000 and a plot.
