First lady Monica Chakwera has presented awards to 15 top performing students in the 2023 MSCE examinations, under her Shaping Our Future Foundation (SOFF).
Chakwera presented the awards today at a ceremony which was held at Blantyre Secondary School (BSS).
The awardees are 2023 top performers from different schools, those who scored 15 points below in national examinations and they have received a laptop and Mk 200,000 cash each.
SOFF assist about 2,356 students, mostly girls in 121 Secondary Schools across the country with secondary school scholarships.
The Foundation works with the Government of Malawi, International and local NGOs, Community structures, women, girls and individuals who share the vision of an inclusive and prosperous Malawi.
