Mota-Engil employees down tools

Employees at Mota-Engil have this morning put down their tools to force their employer to hike their salaries.

The employees who are now holding vigils at Mota-Engil sub-station in area 6 are demanding a 50 percent salary increment.

One of the workers told the press that they have gone for 6 years without any salary increment and recently management adjusted the salaries with 15 percent but they feel is still on the lower side.

Mota-Engil management has yet to comment on the matter.
