Minister concerned with vandalism of public schools by students

Minister of education, Madalitso Kambauwa Wirima has appealed to students from public schools to stop the practice of vandalism if misunderstandings between the students and teachers arises.

Minister said, this malpractice is affecting the government decision of taking the education sector into another level.

Wirima said this on Tuesday after visiting some of the public schools that have been affected in Mchinji district where school blocks were set on fire by angry students.

The reports show that the students were angry because of their friends who expelled out from school because of their bad behaviours.

The Minister has pointed out that, the Ministry will make sure that anyone who will take the laws in his/her hands face the law.
