Malawi’s renowned Afrobeat artist Armstrong Kalua Popularly known as Onesimus, has become the first Malawian musician to win All African Music Award (AFRIMA).
Onesimus who has recently dropped his Extended Playlist tagged “I am Strong” a compilation of seven solid tracks which is extremely loved and played in different streaming platforms.
Onesimus who call himself African Butter made a post on his Facebook page that Face Of Malawi has seen, congratulating himself for bagging such prestigious award.
“My wish is to see other male musicians from this land clinching this award,”reads the post.
Onesimus who rose into fame with Ndakusowa in 2012, has so many hit songs and international collaborations.
Butter’s song “Elle” from Love & Dreamz EP is added to a Showmax Tv series called the Spinners and Netflix Blood And Water series feature his song “Green light, Red light” from same EP.
