Chakwera takes holly week to Blantyre

President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera is this afternoon scheduled to land in the commercial capital Blantyre with a huge pomp.

This can be noticed with a communique sent to all Malawi Congress Party (MCP) supporters urging them to invade the street of Blantyre in large numbers to welcome the Malawi leader.

“The Principal arrives this afternoon, let us all come in large numbers and welcome our leader with pomp and jubilation. Take note that there will be Tambala parade starting from the Clock Tower escorting His Excellency the President to Sanjika Palace. Let’s give our father a warm welcome as we usually do” reads part of the statement.

The Plane carrying Malawi leader is expected to land at Chileka International Airport in Blantyre at 13:30 hours this afternoon.
