Zambia Prominent Lawyer Michael Mundashi Dies in Dubai

Lusaka LAWYER State Counsel Michael Mundashi, has died in Dubai on his way home.

SC Mundashi who was a Managing Partner at Mulenga Mundashi Legal Practitioners passed away last night in Dubai on his way home from India where he had gone for medical treatment.

His close Friend Economist Noel Nkhoma has confirmed his demise and gave a brief background of the late.

“Michael previously served as Board Chairman for Standard Chartered Bank Plc and was until his death Board Chairman for ZAMBEEF Products Plc. He will be remembered as one of the lead lawyers who represented late President Levy P Mwanawasa, SC, in the Presidential petition against late Anderson Mazoka. Mankind has suffered. I have lost a dear friend,” Nkhoma wrote.
