Malawian Afro Dancehall artist Benedicto Kazembe popularly known as 6TH has revealed that he has Vitiligo disorder.
6TH made this revelation through his Facebook page yesterday on 8 April 2024, after receiving alot of questions from his fans on why he alway hide his hand.
“i’ve been suffering from VITILIGO for years now and yes its scary cause the side effect of these things it hurts and I choose to hide it for a long time because I guess I wasn’t ready”, reads the post.
Vitiligo is a chronic autoimmune disorder that causes patches of skin to lose pigment or color.
The disorder has affected 6TH’s left hand and it has caused it some patches that forces him to wear gloves.
A lot of celebrities have been suffering from vitiligo like Leleti Khumalo a South African actress best known for her leading roles in the feature films Sarafina and a Canadian fashion model Winnie Harlow.
