President Lazarus Chakwera has elevated four Traditional Authorities to Senior Chiefs in Ntcheu district.
These are Inkosi Njolomole, Inkosi Masasa, Inkosi Ganya, and Inkosi Champiti.
Local Government, Unity and Culture Ministry spokesperson Anjoya Mwanza has confirmed the development; saying this is with effect from April 10 this year.
Senior Chief Champiti has since pledged to remain loyal and promised to work with the government to address challenges faced by his subjects.
