The body of veteran television presenter Geoffrey Kapusa has now been taken to Machinjiri Township in Machinjiri where vigil is currently taking place.
Minister of Water and Sanitation Abida Sidik Mia and some well-known Malawians are also present at the vigil house in Machinjiri.
Kapusa, popularly known as Mr Splash died this morning at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital after a long illness.
Burial is scheduled for this coming Thursday in Zomba.
