Court sets free Chilima

High Court Judge Redson Kapindu has finally issued a certificate of discontinuance of the corruption charges against State Vice President Saulos Chilima.
The development comes barely days after rumous flooded the social media that Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) Masauko Chamkakala has written the court withdrawing the case.
In the order seen by this publication, all bail conditions against Chilima have been removed.
The development means Chilima is now a free man.
