Zambian Man Burns Brother’s Face After He Poured Hot Porridge On Him

A family dispute in Chiyanga took a viølent turn on Wednesday evening when a 28-year-old man, Niza Sikawala, suffered sevëre bürns after his cousin, only identified as Steve, pøured h0t porridge on him.

The porridge was initially being prepared by their grandmother, Luckness Nakazwe, for their evening meal.

The altercation stemmed from a disagreement earlier in the week when Steve, aged 18, expressed his desire to return to Lusaka where he previously resided with his bio0ogical mother.

After an unsuccessful attempt to reach Lusaka, which resulted in him being dropped off in Kalungu, Steve returned to Nakonde to stay with his grandmother.

This incident led to a hëated exchange between the brothers, culminating in the @ssault on Wednesday night.

Niza Sikawala is currently receiving treatment at Nakonde Urban Clinic, where he was admitted on Thursday morning.

The incident has been reported to the police.
