Two people have died in Dowa district after their motorbikes collided in a road accident happened yester night on 20 May 2024.
Dowa police spokesperson Alice Sitima, has confirmed the sad development and said that Sameel Bangira Karim from Lebanon, was riding a BMW bike number BZ 5519 from the Chezi Turn-off towards the district.
And when he arrived at a certain place, he wanted to pass another motorcycle at a place where the road is curved, and instead he collided with another Lifan motorbike that was coming from the direction he was going.
Sitima said that the other bike was driven by Mr. Chisomo Damiano from the village of Kadango in Dowa, and he was carrying another person.
They said that following the accident, all three were injured and rushed to Dowa hospital.
