Three Netted For Various Offences In Mzimba

Police in Mzimba have arrested three people who are suspected of having committed various crimes at the Jenda trading center in the district.

Public Relations Officer for Jenda Police, Macfarlen Mseteka has confirmed the arrest and identified the suspects as Beatrice Mwaulambo, Alex Phiri and Aaron Saka.

According to Mseteka one of the three is a woman who is being charged with suicide attempt after having misunderstanding with her husband.

Alex Phiri is suspected of having stolen two cows from Kachijere village and Aaron Saka was arrested for having sex with his 14-year-old grandson.

He has also said that  Beatrice will be taken to institutions to receive appropriate counselling. The three are waiting to appear in court to answer their charges
