The opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) has called for the immediate firing of Secretary to the Office of the President and Cabinet (SPC) Colleen Zamba and Minister of Transport and Public Works Jacob Hara over fuel deal scandal.

DPP Secretary General Peter Mukhito made the call during the media briefing currently underway at Golden Peacock Hotel in Lilongwe.

Mukhito went further to ask President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera to immediately fire Minister of Agriculture Sam Dalitso Kawale for failing to manage the Affordable Input Program.

He went further to ask the Anti-Corruption Bureau to investigate the allegations made against the stated government officials.
