Police Confirm Arrest Of Patricia Kaliati

Malawi Police spokesperson, Peter Kalaya, has confirmed the arrest of the Secretary-General of the United Transformation Movement (UTM), Patricia Kaliati.
According to Kalaya, the police have compelling evidence that Kaliati and two other associates, who are at large, intended to violate certain laws of Malawi.
Kalaya mentioned that the police are currently searching for these two individuals in connection with the charges.
Kaliati has been arrested and is being held at the Lingadzi police station in Lilongwe.
