Standard 7 learner takes own life in Thyolo

A standard-seven learner at Chididi primary school in Thyolo, Elishama Dunken, has allegedly committed suicide by hanging in his parents’ house.
South East Police Region spokesperson, Edward Kabango, says Elishama, 15, was left home alone by his relatives this morning.
Kabango says the deceased was found hanging by his sister who was sent back home from school due to improper dressing.
Postmortem has yet to be conducted.
He hails from Maida Village, Traditional Authority (TA) Kapichi in the district.
