Man Arrested For Defiling Disabled Cousin In Mwanza

The police in Mwanza have arrested an 18-year-old man for allegedly defiling his disabled cousin.
Mwanza police spokesperson, Hope Kasakula, said the suspect went to the house of his cousin, who does not walk and does not speak, where he was found alone as his mother had gone to the market at the time.
Kasakula said that this is when the suspect took the opportunity to start raping his cousin, which caused the cousin to start crying. When people nearby heard the screams, they rushed to the house where the screams came from.
They were shocked when they saw this man coming out of the house while pulling up his pants in order to escape.
Hope said this angered the people and they arrested the officer and took him to the Mwanza police station where he is being kept in custody to wait for the day he will appear in court soon.
