Former soccer players of Malawi National Team, Flames legends, will host Chipolopolo legends from Zambia in a much-anticipated friendly match on December 28 at the Bingu National Stadium.

The encounter is a return fixture following last year’s meeting in Zambia. The event is organized by the Football Legends Association, whose founder and board chairperson, Jim Kalua, confirmed that the Chipolopolo legends accepted the invitation through the Football Association of Zambia.

Kalua urged football enthusiasts to attend the match and show their support for the legends.

The Zambian team will feature renowned players such as Felix Katongo, Clifford Mlenga, and Ignicious Lwipa. Representing Malawi will be stars like Esau Kanyenda, Moses Chavula, Fischer Kondowe, and Jimmy Zakazaka.

This event promises a nostalgic celebration of football talent and camaraderie between the two nations.
