Adult film star Anna Beatriz Pereira Alves, known as Anna Polly, died after falling from a hotel balcony in Nova Iguacu, Brazil, on January 23.
She was filming adult content with two men at the time. The men provided conflicting accounts of what happened before the fall.
No arrests have been made, and police are reviewing hotel CCTV footage and Alves’ mobile phone as part of their investigation.
Investigators are considering both an accident and a potential crime. The results of her post-mortem have not been made public, and it’s unclear if drugs or foul play were involved.
Alves, 23, had been active on OnlyFans and had plans to expand her career. Her boyfriend, Pedro Henrique, has expressed grief, calling her loss unbearable.
