UDF Calls for Peace Amid MCP Vehicle Attack in Machinga

United Democratic Front (UDF) has strongly condemned acts of violence that occurred at Nselema Trading Centre in Machinga District where a vehicle belonging to Malawi Congress Party (MCP) was attacked.
In a statement signed by the party’s National Publicity Secretary Dyson Jangia, UDF says such acts of violence have no place in a democracy, especially as the country approaches September 16, 2025 General Elections.
UDF adds that violence of any kind undermines the democratic process and threatens the stability of the Malawi nation.
The party further appeals to all political parties, supporters and citizens to conduct themselves with dignity and embrace peaceful dialogue.
