Government Revokes Licenses for Second-Hand Clothes Importers

Minister of Trade, Sosten Gwengwe, has announced that the government has revoked the licenses of all wholesale traders who import second-hand clothes bales.
Gwengwe made the announcement to a crowd of vendors protesting against the price hike of second-hand bales outside the Parliament Building.
He stated that the government’s position is that bale prices must be reduced.
Currently, Gwengwe is still addressing the vendors.
