42-Year-Old Arrested for Firearm Possession in Balaka, Linked to Other Crimes

Last night, police in Balaka district arrested 42-year-old James Kaipa on suspicion of possessing a firearm without a permit.
Police spokesperson in the district, Gladson M’bumpha, said Mr. Kaipa was arrested along with four other suspects on suspicion of arson, attempted rape, housebreaking and theft, and destruction of property in Phalula.
Mr. Kaipa hails from Katsamiza village in the Nyanyala chiefdom of Balaka district.
