A Nigerian doctor named Stan has shared a shocking story about his friend, who forgave his wife after catching her in bed with their pastor.

According to the doctor, the man walked in on his wife having sex with their pastor in their matrimonial home. Despite the betrayal, he chose to forgive her, believing that she was under spiritual influence and acted out of character.

Dr. Stan also revealed that the woman was so devastated by the incident that she almost took her own life. It took persistent pleas from her family before the husband finally agreed to forgive her.

The story has since sparked mixed reactions online, with many people expressing disbelief over the man’s decision to forgive.

He wrote on Twitter;

“Finally, I woke up to a call today: “Hey man, all is good. The Family got involved, and they are still at my house. As much as it hurts, I have to forgive. My wife didn’t know what came over her. Knowing who she is, I think something possessed her.”

“I was on the other end, asking, “Who made you stay?’ He replied, ‘My wife almost killed herself. I don’t want blood on my hands. Her family and mine begged me for hours into the next morning. If God can forgive, who am I to hold a grudge?”
