Suspected Drug Lords Nabbed in Malawi

A joint security mission by the United States and Malawi Governments has resulted in the arrest of six suspected drug lords with alleged links to a Mexican cartel.
The six were arrested Saturday afternoon after disembarking from Ethiopian Airlines around 3:30pm on Saturday at Kamuzu International Airport (KIA).
The seventh arrested is a Nigerian national, based in Lilongwe who was at the Airport to welcome the six.
Both National Police spokesperson Peter Kalaya and Homeland Security Minister Ezekiel Ching’oma have confirmed the arrests.
