Mzuzu Demos Update: Protesters Bring Coffin Wrapped in MCP Cloth, Police Smash It

Some vendors brought a coffin to their planned protest, but police quickly seized and destroyed it. The coffin was wrapped in cloth bearing the colors and logo of the Malawi Congress Party (MCP).
As of now, the protest has not yet started, as the vendors are still waiting for their group leader to arrive.
A strong police presence has been recorded at Zigwagwa Market, with at least eleven police vehicles deployed to the site where the demonstrations are expected to begin.
