Kwera Funds Awards Beneficiaries in Public University

Kwera fund has recognized the best performing students and department from different public university across the country in an award ceremony  that was held at the Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR).

Kwera Chief Operations Officer Chimwemwe Kamwendo, said the event was meant just to encourage students and institutions to work hard.

“We  want to motivate students and help them do more better,” he said.

Speaking on the event the patron for Kwera Daimon Kambewa, said it is good to see Kwera working like a family. He said the organization helps to guide students to became responsible citizens.

One of the students who is a beneficiary from Kwera, Treaser Mjima from Mzuzu University shared her story by saying Kwera come into her rescue the time she was struggling with her education.

The awards were given in different categories including Best Academic Department, Best Ladies Department, Best Team Player and leadership.

There is hope that these awards will inspire more students to work hard and do well in their academics.
