Mwenelupembe Appointed for CAF Champions League Final Duty

CAF champions league has appointed Football Association of Malawi’s Marketing and Broadcasting Manager, Tulipo Mwenelupembe  to be an Assistant General Coordinator for the first leg of the CAF Champions League final.

Mwenelupembe will first report his duty on 24th My 2025  as Mamelodi Sundowns play against  Pyramids FC at Loftis Versfeld Stadium in South Africa.

Speaking after the appointment Mwenelupembe, said he was honored by the appointment, He thanked God and appreciate FAM President Fleetwood Haiya for supporting his growth.

This is not his first big assignment with CAF earlier this year, he also took part in top matches including the CAF Champions semi finals between Orlando Pirates and Pyramids FC in April and a confederation Cup match between Simba SC and CS Constantine in January.

This marks another step in growing  Menelupembe’s progress with CAF  in Malawi and Africa football.
