Kid Cudi to Testify in Diddy S3x Crimes Trial Over Car Bombing Allegations

American Rapper Kid Cudi is expected to take the stand this week in the ongoing sex crimes trial against embattled music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, where he will testify about an alleged car bombing incident from 2012, reportedly linked to Diddy’s jealousy over Cudi’s brief relationship with singer Cassie Ventura.

According to CNN, prosecutor Maurene Comey confirmed that Kid Cudi will provide testimony about the incident involving his Porsche, which was set ablaze and exploded in his driveway in Los Angeles in 2012. The testimony comes on the heels of explosive allegations made by Cassie in her 2023 rape lawsuit against Diddy, which stated that the Bad Boy Entertainment founder vowed to blow up Kid Cudi’s car.

“Mr. Combs told Ms. Ventura that he was going to blow up Kid Cudi’s car and that he wanted to ensure that Kid Cudi was home with his friends when it happened,” the lawsuit stated.

Cassie told the court last week that Diddy allegedly made the threat after discovering she was dating Kid Cudi in 2011. She claimed the mogul became “irate,” and shortly afterward, Cudi’s Porsche exploded in his driveway.

Following the lawsuit, Kid Cudi confirmed the allegation in a statement to The New York Times, saying, “This is all true.”

The car bombing was also backed by a Los Angeles Fire Department arson report, which stated that the fire was caused by an incendiary device, resulting in approximately $10,000 in damages.

Cudi is expected to testify after former Diddy employee George Kaplan, who reportedly left his job after witnessing Diddy’s physical abuse of Cassie, takes the stand.

Diddy is facing multiple allegations of rape, physical abuse, and intimidation tactics from several accusers. He has denied all wrongdoing.
