Mzuzu Demos Update: Demonstrators Tear Down Chakwera’s Billboard

Meanwhile, protesters in Mzuzu City have removed a billboard of the President Lazarus Chakwera that was located near the Old Mutual offices.
Police have issued a warning, stating they will take action against anyone who violates the agreement made prior to the protests.
The demonstrations are reportedly in response to rising prices and dissatisfaction with the performance of the Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC).
