Fire Guts Zambezi Evangelical Church in Chilomoni, Property Worth 50 Million Kwacha Lost

A fire has destroyed several items at Zambezi Evangelical Church in Chilomoni, Blantyre.
The items that were burned include musical instruments, furniture, tableware, and a basket.
Police officer Aaron Albert stated that the fire started between 12 and 1 a.m.
The church’s treasurer, Eric Maya, said that goods worth at least 50 million kwacha were destroyed.
It is suspected that the fire was caused by an electrical fault, but investigations are ongoing.
