“He FVcks Other Women While I’m in The Next Door” – Zambian Woman Cries Out in Court

A woman from Chibombo’s 10 Miles area in Zambia has dragged her husband to the Matero Local Court, accusing him of repeatedly bringing other women into their matrimonial home and sleeping with them while she lies just meters away in the main bedroom.

Regina Banda told Magistrate Harriet Mulenga that her husband, Musa Mumpakati, has turned their spare bedroom into a space for his affairs, with complete disregard for her dignity and their marriage vows.

“When we married in 2018, everything was peaceful,” Banda said. “But after the birth of our first child, he changed. He started bringing women into our house and doing things with them in the other room while I was sleeping in the next one.”

Banda, who now has two children with Mumpakati, said no dowry was ever paid, but she remained committed to the relationship until the betrayal became unbearable.

In a shocking defense, Mumpakati claimed he resorted to cheating because Banda allegedly “sleeps with her clothes on” to avoid intimacy with him.

“I’m a man. She doesn’t allow me near her, so what do you expect?” he told the court.

The case was filed as a suit for reconciliation, though Banda expressed pain and doubt over continuing the relationship.

The court is yet to give its final ruling, but the matter has sparked a wave of debate among community members about respect in marriage, personal boundaries, and how far forgiveness can go.
