Lady Aika Opens Up About Lack of Collabos – Teases New Song “Again”

Malawi’s beloved female artist Lady Aika has finally responded to fans who have been wondering why she hasn’t collaborated with other artists yet.

In a heartfelt message shared on her official Facebook page today, Aika wrote:

“Most people usually ask why I have never done a collabo so far… it’s hard to answer, but the thing is  in Malawi, there are a lot of artists I like and it would be a dream come true to work with them.

But to be honest, when you’re just starting out in music, it’s hard to convince big established artists to collaborate with you, especially when you don’t have money.

So you have to work on your own until you prove your worth and talent  and that’s what I’ve been doing over the past year.”

Lady Aika went on to highlight some of her solo songs that have built her reputation, including “Pa Ntengo, Yesabe, Simple, Busy and By Faith.

Now, she says she is ready to take a new step in her journey as she prepares to release a new single titled “Again.”

She ended her post by appreciating the support from fans who have been with her since day one, saying, “The journey is still there, and so far the pace is good.”

Lady Aika has also released a short video clip on TikTok vibing to her soon-to-be-released song, encouraging fans to hop on the trend and “abuse the sound again.”
