
Mic Mash Set to Drop Mental Health-Inspired Track “How Are You” Featuring Quest

Rising Malawian artist Mic Mash is set to release a brand-new single titled “How Are You” featuring fellow musician Quest, tonight, 16 June, 2025, exclusively on MBC Radio 2.
Mic Mash, who is quickly gaining attention in the local music scene following impactful releases such as ‘Mtima’ with Praise Umali, continues to use music as a tool for healing and awareness.
In a snippet shared on his official Facebook page, How Are You, addresses mental health, particularly the silent struggles many people face while pretending everything is fine. In the song, Mash highlights how people often respond with “I’m okay” even when they’re not, out of fear of being judged or ridiculed.
The artist, who is also the founder of The Broken Crayons movement and a mental health advocate, is known for using his platform and talent to spark conversations around emotional well-being and depression. His music consistently delivers messages of hope, healing, and mental resilience.
This isn’t the first time Mic Mash and Quest have teamed up in 2023, they collaborated on Flowers, a song encouraging people to appreciate their loved ones while they are still alive. The track received warm reception, amassing over 30,000 views on YouTube.
