Man To Spend 14 Years In Jail For Rap1ng 11 Year Old Girl In Salima

A 35-year-old man in Salima County has been sentenced to 14 years in prison and hard labor after being found guilty of raping an 11-year-old girl.
Prosecutor Pemphero Dzanjalimodzi told the court that the man committed the crime on June 12 this year at a shopping mall in the county.
Dzanjalimodzi said the boy’s father left the perpetrators with the victim while they went shopping in the evening and when they returned, they found the perpetrator sexually assaulting the boy behind the kitchen.
Appearing in court, the man pleaded guilty, prompting Judge Antony Banda to sentence him to the death penalty.
