Silver Strikers FC have booked their place in the 2025 Airtel Top 8 final after a dramatic 2-1 victory over Civil Service United in a thrilling Lilongwe derby at Bingu National Stadium.
The Bankers took the lead through Nickson Mwase, but Civil’s Peter Ng’ambi restored parity, setting the stage for a tense finish that looked destined for penalties. However, Emmanuel Allan emerged as the hero for Silver, netting a stoppage-time winner to send the Bankers into the final.
Silver will now face FCB Nyasa Big Bullets in the final, which is scheduled for 12 July 2025 at Bingu National Stadium.
