Legendary bodybuilder Ronnie Coleman has been hospitalized due to a serious medical emergency, forcing him to cancel a planned trip to the UK.
In an Instagram post, Coleman told fans, “Hey guys, I hate to break it to y’all, but I won’t be able to make it out to the UK this week like I planned.” He added, “Unfortunately, I had a medical emergency and had to stick around here in the U.S. for treatment.”
Despite the setback, he assured fans, “Don’t worry… I’m in great hands, getting the best care, and I’m staying strong through it all.”
Coleman ended his message with his trademark positivity, saying, “This ain’t nothin but a peanut.”
The following day, his family confirmed he was in a “serious medical condition” but receiving “expert medical care.”
They stated, “We kindly ask for your understanding and support in keeping the environment respectful and free of speculation.”
Coleman, 61, is considered one of bodybuilding’s all-time greats, sharing the record for most Mr. Olympia wins with eight titles.
