Man Arrested In Neno For Having Sex With One-Year-Old Daugter

Police in Zalewa, Neno District, have arrested a 24-year-old man on suspicion of having sex with his one-year-old daughter.
According to Neno Police Spokesperson Rebecca Msoliza, the suspect has been having sex with the child since May this year.
They explained that in May, the child’s mother harassed the man and reprimanded him. One day, she left the father and child sleeping and went to wash clothes at the house but when she returned, she found that the child had been raped.
“On June 26 this year, the mother went to fetch water and left her daughter with his father sleeping but when she returned, she decided to change the child’s diaper and found that the child had been raped again. She called the father, who seemed shocked and showed him the news and reported the matter to his mother-in-law,” said Msoliza.
The hospital results showed that the child had indeed been raped and Lameck will appear in court to answer the charges.
