The Malawian hip-hop scene is heating up again, and this time, it’s Boi Stickx a fast-rising rapper from BrainLock Fam who’s at the center of the storm.

Fresh off the release of his latest single “Stop It”, Boi Stickx has taken to Facebook to publicly criticize fellow rappers EM El and 60 Grams, accusing them of weak lyrics, lack of creativity, and riding on outdated styles.

In a now-viral Facebook post, Sticx called out EM El, writing:

“Tell EM EL Comas that the verse he laid in his recent feature is whack. He should stick to his old music or go back to dancing Amapiano like before. Back then, at least he was fine with his belly. F**k y’all sounding the same… goofy ass nicca.”

He then directed his energy toward 60 Grams, mocking his rap delivery and abilities in the studio:

“I stopped doing stuff with 60 Grams. He’s just a kid, guys. Plus, he can’t do anything in the studio. He just sounds like he’s talking. Sometimes he sounds like he wants to cry. So nah. Avoid these types of people. They’ve pissed me off. Most of you have no real talent you’re all sounding the same. Lol. Aura rejects from because you got it from BrainLock.”

Stickx wasn’t done. He threw further shade by warning:

“Keep my name out of your mouths, or we’ll keep going like this. Sandrizo, Man with Titties, and the vocally crippled kid… please stop dissing me. Let everyone do their own thing. I’m done chilling with you guys. Don’t be salty I have options. Otherwise, I’ll also start getting emotional. Period.”

The controversial post has sparked mixed reactions from fans some supporting Stickx for being bold and unfiltered, while others have accused him of jealousy or clout-chasing.

As of now, EM El and 60 Grams have not publicly responded to the shots. The two are reportedly busy riding with the Mario Bros crew, a group of Slime artists based in Lilongwe that Sticx used to associate with.

Whether this is a brewing beef or just typical rap banter, one thing’s for sure: the new school of Malawi hip-hop is full of fire, and Sticx is not afraid to fan the flames.
