Mutharika Set to Submit Presidential Nomination Letter This Friday

Former President of Malawi, Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika, has announced that he is ready to submit his letter of intent to contest in the upcoming 2025 presidential election.

The announcement was made Monday night through a post on his official Facebook page, where Mutharika stated that his decision is driven by love for the country and the desire to restore hope and stable governance.

“This is not just about politics. It is a sacred calling to restore hope, dignity, and visionary leadership to Malawi,” Mutharika wrote.

He noted that the country is facing deep challenges that require a leader with experience, courage, and foresight.

Mutharika has called on all Malawians regardless of political affiliation  to join him in his mission to transform the nation.
