A Nigerian landlord has shared how he ended up marrying his former tenant after his wife repeatedly locked him out for coming home late.
Posting on X (formerly Twitter), the man, identified as @tort_walec, said the turning point came in 2017 when his kind-hearted female tenant let him in after yet another incident.
“In 2017, my wife locked me outside, but our beautiful, kind-hearted female tenant opened her door for me. In short, she’s not a tenant anymore. We now have three children,” he wrote.
He revealed that his wife had locked him out over 20 times before he decided to leave the marriage.
The post quickly went viral amid an online debate about whether it’s appropriate for a wife to lock her husband out.
