Man Kills Friend Over K100 Dispute in Lunzu

Police in Chileka have arrested Gracium Chinthema, 38, for allegedly killing his friend Chikondi Yusuf, 37, over a K100 dispute related to touting services.
Chileka Police Station Public Relations Officer, Jonathan Phillipo, said the incident happened on July 30, 2025 at Lunzu Trading Centre, where a quarrel escalated into a fatal accident.
Chinthema allegedly pushed Chikondi into the path of an oncoming truck, resulting in severe head injuries that proved fatal.
Chikondi’s body was taken to Mlambe Mission Hospital, where his death was pronounced. The police are investigating the matter and the suspect will appear in court soon.
