Maranatha International Academy says Sharda University scholarship open to all students in Malawi

Over 100 students from Malawi now have all the chances to enroll with Sharda University of Indian following an agreement signed between the University and Maranatha International Academy.

Maranatha has been in partnership with Sharda University where students from the school have been studying in India starting from last year.

But now this chance has been extended to all students from Malawi where the learners will be paying half of the tuition fees.

This was revealed today during a media briefing organized by Maranatha International Academy Director Dr. Ernest Kawonga and Rahul Paul, a representative of the Sharda University.

According to Kawonga, learners willing to study at Sharda University will be going through Maranatha Academy.

“I can confirm that the Scholarship that Sharda University was offering to Maranatha are now open to all Malawians and if you wish to go to Sharda University just call Maranatha for registration and other paper work. Once one is successful it means he/she will get 50 percent scholarship,” said Kawonga.

Kawonga urged Malawians to trust the partnership agreement between the two institutions.

“I can assure you all Malawians that no one will be duped through this partnership. Maranatha International Academy is the trusted institution in Malawi and this will also give confidence to many Malawians willing to study in India,” he added.

He also revealed that Maranatha is planning to have its own University which will be linked to Sharda University as well as a Primary School.

On his part, Paul hailed the partnership and urged Malawians to embrace it.

A total of over 20 students from Maranatha International Academy are currently studying at Sharda University in India.
