Fuel Black Market Crackdown – Two Women Arrested in Mwanza

Police in Mwanza District have arrested two women, Grace Martin and Beauty Limbe, for allegedly selling motor vehicle fuel without a license.
According to Mwanza Police Public Relations Officer Hope Kasakula, the arrest is part of an ongoing operation aimed at curbing the illegal sale of fuel on unregulated markets.
Kasakula stated that the two were found in possession of 30 litres of petrol, which they were allegedly selling without proper authorization.
He added that the police will continue the operation until the fuel supply situation in the district normalizes.
