Man Arrested For Sleeping With Step-daughter in Salima

Police in Salima have arrested 29 year-old man on suspicion of allegedly having sexual intercourse with his 11 year-old step daughter.
Public relations officer for Salima Police, Rabecca Ndiwate, has confirmed the arrest and identified the suspect as Davison Mphande.
According to Ndiwate, the suspect is believed to committee the offence on 3 August this year when he asked the minor to go with him to the farm.
upon reaching the farm, Mpande undressed the minor and defiled her and threaten her to tell no one. When she gets home, the minor told her mother what happened at the farm and the mother told some authorities who dragged Mphande to the police station.
The victims were taken to Salima hospital where tests confirmed they had been defiled and they are currently being held to face charges.
Davison Mphande hails from Mwanda village, a major village in Salima, Salima district.
